Story

It has been 5 long years since the archon Baetylus was slain and peace restored to the world. The hero who saved the world, Koros Satori, left his friends to travel on his own, becoming a sword for hire in the land of Morda Vael. However, one day, he is faced with a mission to defeat an evil undead sorceress who is planning to raise an army of "omni zombies" to take over the world. However, only if Koros knew that this very mission...

...would be his last.

Chronicles I Epilogue (also known as Crypt Challenge EX+) serves as a remake of 2015's Crypt Challenge, a remaster of 2019's Crypt Challenge DX and 2021's Crypt Challenge EX, and a canonical sequel/epilogue to Chronicles: Meteorfall, formally known as Meteo Chronicles. It is a short turn-based RPG where an older Koros, hero of Meteo Chronicles, must venture through a non-linear crypt to find and defeat the evil Lich Queen and gain his reward.
